A-List Animals is Cincinnati’s only reptile specialty pet store. The store is treated like a daily reptile show! They provide a great selection and low prices on everything you need from animals to supplies to feeders. They have continued to add a number of breeders, including Ball Pythons, Columbian Boas, Angolan Pythons, Sand Boas, Hognose, Colubrids, Crested Geckos, Bearded Dragons, and breeding groups of Monkey Tail Skinks, Gila Monsters, and Giant African Millipedes.

A-List Animals originally opened in October 2004 as D & K Reptile Sales, LLC; a small reptile breeder and wholesaler in owners Derrick and Kylila Burnett’s garage and basement. The first two years were spent mostly on breeding colubrids and small lizards, but after the purchase of their first Ball Python morph in 2005, things really took off! After working 7 years out of their garage, they made the decision to have their own shop. In 2011, they found the perfect building for their reptiles and rodents in their current Floral Avenue residence in Blue Ash, OH. With a new name and a new place, ‘A-List Animals’ officially opened in October 2011. In their first year, they managed to meet and exceed all of their goals, and the shop is now a full-time profession for owner Derrick. They owe their success to their customers and strive to keep them as customers for life!

Owners Derrick and Kylila have always strived to make it a family first business, something that is reflected in their own excitement as their children get ready to start work along side them at the shop. This family is definitely passionate about reptiles!

With over 30 years of experience with exotic pets (primarily reptiles and mammals), they take pride in the quality of the animals they keep and the network of keepers/breeders they have developed over the years. Derrick and Kylila have always stressed the importance of education and conservation with their captive breeding projects, being strong supporters of USARK, and partnering up with local shows Cin City Reptile Show and the Kentucky Reptile Expo, which they are regular attendees.

A-List Animals have been supplying the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens with live and frozen rodents for over two years now, and they bring animals to summer camps and schools for educational programs. They believe that it is their responsibility to create future hobbyists.
